The Pack Den

Eclipse sat on the top of the den looking out for any danger.

Commet came back to the den. "so anything happen well I was gone? Commet asked.

"nope nothing at all, I thought I saw a wolf though but I realised it was a fox. So yeah we're safe for now."

'ok thats good" Commet said befor going into the den. He turned around and laid down so that he was looking out side the den.

Eclipse carried on looking out ontop of the den, "I think we need to tell Reika about our little encounter yesterday. Thats the sort of stuff she needs to know."

"agreed" Commet said with a nodd.

Reika flicked her ears. "What do I need to know?" She asked.

"about yesterday" Commet said. "well you were gone..." Commet started waiting for Eclipse to finish.

"A messenger came and told us about our impending doom. Apparantly we're now on a hit list which was made by the old pack." Eclipse shrugged, not really bothered by the seriousness of the message.
"Thats why we're being alert today."

Reika rolled her eyes. "My ex-mate I swear. Hes such a liar and a brat." She growled. "Im going over there myself. If I dont come back, then im mostly likely dead, seeing as though the 'seriousness' of sending a messenger." She said with a snort, walking towards the forest.

"I"m comming with you!" Pheonix said. "I am a Worrior after all so I could help if it starts to get ugly." She told Reika.

"And I'm coming with you. I don't care what you think, you need the help and anyways this is my fight too since i kinda sparked it..." Eclipse followed Reika out of the den.

Reika nodded. "Thanks." She said walking towards the territory, only to be stopped by Kia. "Mama dont leave!" She whined, her eyes huge. Reika smiled and pushed Kia out of the way. "Play with Eclipse or something. Stay out of trouble and dont try to stop me. Ill come back, I promise." She said walking forward again.

"Hey, don't palm her onto me. Kia go play back at the den I'm sure Phoenix and Comet will enjoy your company. I'm sorry but I need to go with your Mum and you know, make sure she doesn't break her promise..."

Reika smiled. "Thanks." She said, begining to walk deeper into the territory. Kia sat down and tipped her head. "What is mama gonna do to daddy?" She asked with a whine.

Eclipse followed Reika silently. Mentally preparing himself for battle...

Reika arrived back at the den, only to be greeted by Kia with a fierce yip. Reika smiled and licked the pup on the head. "See? I told you I would come back." She said, laying on her back as Kia climbed all over her and sniffed her.

Eclipse finally caught up with Reika, "Reika i need to talk to you."

Reika looked up. "What is it?" She asked, sending Kia into the den to eat a rabbit. She then sat up. "Is it serious?" She asked.

Dusk watched from afar trying to conseil himself.

"Well, yes. Basically we're still marked. He managed to send word out to every lone wolf to hunt us down. and I'll bet they're not stupid so they won't fight us one at a time."

Reika rolled her eyes. "If he thinks loners who are probably starving right now are gonna hurt this pack, they wont." She said. "We have plenty of food and great warriors." She said.

"Well yeah but we need to know so at least we're not separated when they attack." Eclipse mood suddenly changed. "It'll be fun, honestly it will."

dusk crept closer. he tried to jump into the tree but failed. He fell down out of the tree.

Reika nodded. "I agree." She said.

Raina slowly loped through the trees, not wanting to be heard.
