The Pack Den

Breeze walked out of the den in the corner of the forest. He looked and heard the messenger return with the news of the ones the leader called 'The Marked'. Breeze didn't like the way the leader treated his position and he could see why the others left him. But still the pack took one of them in when they were younger and the others were respected so they shouldn't of given the pack the dishonour of treating them like that.

Breeze shook his head to stop himself from thinking and walked over to the stream to take a drink.
What would I do If I became leader? they say I will one day but will I be ready?.

Raina jumped through the bushes with a smile, her tail wagging violently. "I love this time of year!" She said running into a tree. She shook her head and began to jump around again.

Silver yawned. "I agree. this time of year is great."He said.

Breeze walked back to the den and sat infront of the den.

Raina yawned. "Im tired." She said walking into the river and jumping in. The cold water made her wake up. "I feel better now!" She said with a smile.

Silver went to stand gaurd. "i'm a hunter not a gaurd why do I have to do this?" he said to himself.

Raina ran into the river and tried catching some salmon.

Breeze suddenly saw Echo, a young scout running back to the den. He stood infront of the alpha panting heavily.
"We...we're u..."
"What do you say to a superior?"
"Sir...we're under attack from the marked!"
The leaders eyes became so wide his eyes could of fallen out.
"All wolves rise to arms...PROTECT ME!! for I am your superior!"
Breeze got up and looked into the bushes.

Reika walked through the bushes and growled low. "So, using numbers, huh? How low can you get Breeze." She snarled, walking forward with her tail held high. "I like the fact that your scout got here in time. Its tough to pass me easily, I hope you know that your lucky Echo." She said with a devilish smile.

Silver ran to the battle lines.

Dusk went up to the leader that rased him. "and why is that sir?" he said. "we should protect YOU and not the PACK?" he said. then started to head to the front lines. 'what a cowerd." he thought.

Breeze looked at Reika and growled at her, " I'm not alpha, but you are tresspassing on our packs territory so leave."

The leader blurted out form behind him, "They are the marked, kill them now!"
Breeze looked at the alpha and then paused to think.

Eclipse followed Reika out of the bush. He was quietly determined. He knew he didn't have to say anything, His body was saying all that needed to be said. He growled at an approaching wolf. Uncharacteristicly he didn't attack. Instead he looked directly at the alpha and said, "We're here to challenge the alpha to free you all. Don't say you agree with his leadership style that is...unless you want to make my day."

Reika smiled at the alpha. "Come on out love, show yourself. Show them that your nothing but a traitor!" She snarled angrily, looking over all her old pack members.

Raina whined and stayed in formation. 'I hate fighting another female... Its for the best!' She thought, puffing out her chest and pricking her ears, wanting to make herself look stronger than she is.

Dusk aproched Eclipse. "THE ALPHA IS A COWERD!" Dusk yelled. "I only obay him for a home nothing more." he said. "I do not like him and am not afraid to say so."

Breeze looked at them. He then looked at all the other wolves and eventually the leader. "It is not our fight, I accept the challenge to the alpha. You may pass by me." Breeze bowed before them. He whispered to them as they passed, "Good luck..."

The leader looked from behind the line of wolves. "Breeze kill them now or I will label you as marked! Fine traitor you will die."
He looked in horror as many wolves backed down and moved away.

Eclipse moved pass the wolves in gratitude but also slight shock...

"STOP NOW LEADER! GRR... YOU ARE DEFENETLY A COWERD! YOU WILL KILL AN ALY? HOW DARE YOU!" Dusk snarled. then moved in and grabed the leaders tail.

Reika licked her chops. "Even if we are so called 'marked' we still hold our pride as wolves of courage, wisdom and strength. Unlike you, who just sit around and have his..... lower ranking wolves, do the dirty work. Its sickening. Every alpha needs to respect the fact that they are not only the same as their followers, but no where near as powerful as they are together either!" She growled, walking towards him and begining to circle him. "Kia is becoming quite the pup, by the way." Reika growled before tackling him.

Eclipse looked at the alpha and watched him struggle with his demon. "That demon has done bad things in the past but I'm glad he's finally done the right thing and stopped taking orders from him." Every single wolf gathered around the fighting pair. Many were chanting, "Go Reika go!"

Dusk ran up and to everyones suprize Bit his leg. "what are you doing tartor!" Silver yelled.

Reika growled at the alpha. "Now you get to experience the pain that Kia, Me and everyone else has experienced!" She growled, jumping off him and suprisingly pulling off both his ears, making him yelp so loud the birds flew away. She then lunged at him and bit into his left eye, watching the blood flow down she let go with saitsfaction. "Do whatever you want with him now. Just when your done, if there is anything left, give him a proper burial." She growled, walking towards her own territory again.

dusk jumped and bit down on the leaders tail tuging and yanking it off. the leader let out a howl of pain and fell onto the ground.

Eclipse followed Reika back to their territory stopping momentarily to talk to Breeze.
"Shame I've always wanted to see what would happen if we fought eachother."
"Well I've denied you again. Word of warning... your still marked. The leader has spread the word to all the loners in the area and they will go after you. Its a dirty trick he uses to control us...so take care and thank you."
Breeze once again bowed before him as he left.

Dusk went up and fallowed eclipse closly. "I did it after so many years. I want to see my brother again." he said and jumped down thinking that he was out of site.

Breeze saw Dusk leave but decided to do nothing about it. He had nthing to do with him so he didn't know what to do. He walked over to the leader. He saw he was still breathing.
"As from now you have been stripped of your title. The rank of Alpha is now open for debate."
He looks at the leader, "I see your still able to move. Don't worry you can stay for now but when your fit you will be exiled. Permanently."

"ouch." Silver said. "hm.. I think I have an idea." looks at Breaze

Raina gasped for breath. "I forgot I wasnt breathing!" She said, gasping for air. "All better!" She yipped, running around in circles.
