The Pack Den

silver laughed. "nice." he said. "how can your forget to breath?" he asked her.

Breeze looked at Silver, "Whats your idea?"

"I just did!" Raina said, walking towards Red Oak Pack's territory hopefully unnoticed.

"I say you should be pack leader." he said. "you are better than him." he said pointing to the old leader. (dont know his name.) "or if you don't like that we could vote." he said then turned to the other wolves. " WHAT DO YOU THINK?" he asked.

Raina flicked her ears as she arrived at the egde of Red Oak Pack's territory. "Here goes..." She told herself, slowly walking forward.

Breeze turned to look at many wolves nodding at him, "Wow I'm flattered and I'm guessing that was the vote."
He looked at the wolves who started barking and howling in agreement with him.
"Ok I'm happy to be the alpha..." He nodded in thanks as the wolves celebrated.

Sunclaw smiled and walked up to Breeze. "Congratulations. I knew you'd do it." she whispered before walking towards some water.

Breeze looked at his pack members and smiled at them. He then walked into the cave where he put 'the leader'.
"How are you doing today?" He asked suprisingly nicely.
The leader growled at him, "What would you care. You're going to banish me when I'm better!"
"That may be true but I don't want you to leave in poor condition, you're a strong male you'll soon be able to survive the wilds and maybe even start afresh."
"wheres Dusk? I want him now!"
"Dusk has gone and I don't know if he'll return"
Breeze left him in the cave while being shouted at. That only re-enforced his decision for banishment.

Sunclaw sighed and looked down at the rushing river in front of her. Time to tackle the art of fishing, she thought, catching a glimpse of silver underneath the surface. She jumped down from the rock she was sitting on and crouched down, not letting her shadow fall on the water. She crawled foward until almost in the water and got ready to leap. She saw another fish and, mouth open, leaped in. Her teeth brushed against the fish, but the fish slid out. "I guess I need more 'practice'..." she mumbled, losing balence. She gasped and quickly jumped out. "Defently need more practice..."

Raina rolled in onion leaves and ran into the clearing, smelling freshly of onions. She looked around, hoping nobody had noticed her disappearance.

Breeze looked at the dwindling food supply, he decided to go hunting. He stood in the middle and asked to everyone if they wanted to join the hunt.

Raina nodded. "Me!" She yipped.

Breeze nodded and him, Raina and a few others ran off into the forest in search of food. They search for a long time before they finally found an elderly elk who had lost its way from the herd. Breeze looked at two of the wolves.
"You two sneak behind the elk. Me and Raina will herd it to you where you'll strike." They nodded and ran off into their positions.
"Keep up Raina this will happen quickly, oh and don't get too close, they can kick hard."

Raina nodded, her eyes wild with excitement. "Okay!" She whispered.

Breeze signalled to her and the idly waiting wolves that its starting. Breeze crouched low in the grass and snuck up to the elk. It pricked its ears as it heard movement but it kept its head down while eating. Breeze kept low
"Not now...not now...just a little closer...Raina NO not now!" It was too late in her excitement Raina launched herself out of the grass and hurled herself at the elk. Breeze ran quickly to catch up trying to get the elk in the right direction. The two wolves leapt out when they realised the elk wasn't going in their direction. One of the wolves launched himself at the elk knocking them both down. As he tried to get up the elk kicked him in the back of the neck, just missing the spine, forcing him to the floor in pain. Breeze launched himself and killed the elk before it had time to escape.
He looked at the wolf, "Are you ok?" he asked.
"Its just a scratch" was the reply as the wolf got up shakily. Breeze turned to look at Raina...

Raina's eyes returned to normal and she panted, then looked up at Breeze. "Yes?" She asked, looking down at the injured wolf. "Oh dude what happened to you?" She asked him.

"Raina you completely ignored me and you endanged the hunting party and that resulted in an injury. Raina if you want to hunt you need to follow the orders of me and the hunters, luckily no one was hurt badly and we have our kill so all I can say is don't do it again" Breeze's stern and forceful expression turned to a smile. "Raina you can help me drag it back...as a punishment." he laughed and pushed her over.

"Hey!" Raina growled, pushing Breeze back over and grabbing the carcas and dashing off. "And as punishment for pushing me you can carry him!" Raina yapped back.

Sunclaw sighed and tried fishing again.

how disrespectful he thought to himself she's a pup...she'll grow out of it
Breeze went back to help up the wolf who seemed to be fine . They walked back to the den wondering if Raina had brought it back or dragged it off somewhere else.

Sunclaw saw another fish in the distance of the river and leaped towards it, landing on it. She dragged it out of the river and took a bite out of it, only to find out it was a huge leaf. She spat it out and sat down again, for what it seemed like the twentieth time that day.

Raina dropped the carcas as she arrived back at the den. "Strength and Speed are my allies!" She told herself happily.

Breeze and the hunters came back with another elk. They stumbled across it when travelling back. They dropped it next to Rainas.
"You're very quick and suprisingly strong for your size Raina." said Breeze as he walked into the den to say hello to 'the leader'.

Sunclaw sighed and stared at the water, admitting defeat. She saw a flash of silver, but didn't move. The fish jumped out of the water and landed near her paws. "Yes! I got one!" but before she could move, the fish leaped back into the water. "Almost..." Sunclaw stared at her feet in dissapoinment.

"Thanks. I got that when I was a pup and defeated my dad in like three blows." She said with a smile.
