Dragon Roleplay (I know bad name)

Reika growled a bit louder in her sleep and began to mumble a bit.


Reika's Dream:


Reika treaded through the snow, mumbling angrily to herself. She heard loud whimpers and turned towards the alley, noting that it was very dark and that it could be a trick. She walked cautiously forward, snifing the air as she went. She went behind a large dumpster and saw a small, black and white fuzzy dog with black wings. Her eyes widened and she brought the pup closer, letting her feed off the milk she would have fed her pups, had they survived. She licked the small pup on the head. "Dont worry, Ill feed you until your hearts content and take care of you..." She whispered to the pup. "Your name is...." She said looking at the small collar on the dog. "Kia? Odd name, but thats fine." She said, licking the pup again and curling her tail around her as it began to warm up.

Skytalon fell asleep in the corner.

Eclipse wondered which family he would be put in before he fell asleep.

Ember yawned and woke up as the sunlight hit her eyes. She shook her head and sat up straight, blinking sleep from her eyes.

Skytalon awoke slowly as the suns light got brighter. He yawned and stretched and eventually got up.

Eclipse stayed curled up but he was awake.

Reika bolted awake with a loud yawn, followed by an obnoxious burp. Kia rolled her eyes and burped louder, making it echo. "Haha!" Kia yipped, raising her tail to her mother. Reika rolled her eyes.

Ember spreaded her wings and flapped them to get the scent of rotting meat out of the den.

Skytalon jumped off the cliff and spread his wings. He dive bombed to just above the forest where he looked for deer.
He saw one and quickly dived on it knocking it into the ground. He quickly grabbed it in his claws and took it back to the nesting site.

Saphira woke up and streched her wings with a loud yawn.

Dusk woke up again after his hard night sleep but he had a paranoid look in his eyes.

Skytalon took a chunk of meat off his latest catch and ate it quickly. He then tore smaller chunks off and offered them to the rest of the clan.

Dusk looked out at the sky spaced out. 'w-what-no who was that wolf/dragon thing.' he thought then looked at Skytalon who was passing out meat to the clan. "Hey Skytalon can I ask you a question?" he asked.

"You may." Skytalon nodded at dusk and then sat waiting for Dusk to ask his question.

"um...I had a nightmare last night. There was this huge wolf/dragon in it. Does that mean anything or have you or the elders her of a dragon like that? He was very scary and he was raven black with orange/gold eyes tha said evil all over it." Dusk said his voice trembling.

Skytalon's eyes opened, "He's myth...legend. He was a great powerful dragon who ruled the entire land and forced others to be subserviant to him. But apparantly he was eventually overthrown by many courageous warriors...but why dream of him now?"
Skytalon walked over to the cliff and looked into the endless sky.
"It makes sense, the deserters, The unworthy. They were overthrown by him. I've seen deserters from very powerful broods and that means we're rapidly running out of time. Dark times are coming...I can feel it. Thankyou for sharing your vision...I must seek council with the elders immediately."

"ok..." Dusk said. 'but there's more. Should I tell them...after all he did say..."

(yay flashback time)

"w-who are you" Dusk asked. "You" The creature said then an evil laugh filled the air.

(done flashback)

"T-that worries me" he told himself watching Skytalon walk off to tell the elders.

Skytalon walked into the elders cave, "I seek immediate council...I have grave news..."
The three elders got up and sat infront of him.
"Go ahead my child." said Swift smiling at him.
"I have reason to believe that we are in serious danger."
"What reason do you have to believe it. Its not about the new dragons is it?" Asked Orion.
"No, an even bigger threat...I think the Black Mist has risen again."
"Thats silly boy, get out of my sight and get it in your head that thats a story." replied Bladewing.
"No the new dragon by the name of Dusk had a vision and described him perfectly. I have no doubt that it was the one from legend that he was talking about!"
"Its a vision...no its a dream, it doesn't mean it'll happen."
"I believe you are given dreams for a reason and his was trying to foretell the impending danger! And I have more reasons to be worried...we've all seen deserters and The Unworthy, and I've seen some from powerful broods. Why would they desert their lands especially as we know its just as full of life as ours is!"
"I must admit I turned a blind eye to the deserters...ok leave us be, what ever the threat is we need to make plans just to make sure." Finished Orion.
Skytalon bowed and left the cave.

Dusk was waiting outside the cave were the elders are. "so how did it go?" dusk asked.

"They are going to make plans. My guess this means by the next sunrise we will begin training for battle. But if that happens we will need to get you to represent a family. That way Bladewing will have nothing to complain about." Skytalon looked worried.

"um..ok" Dusk said then he turned again to look at the sky then back at Skytalon. "by the way Commet is my brother." he said just incase they plan on splitting the two up.

"Ok i'll keep that in mind." said Skytalon, still looking into the distance.

Dusk went out and flew around for a bit befor running into a black female dragon. "um hi" he said. she didn't respond instead she let out a roar and left back to get what seemed to be weard looking dragon things that are known as Wyverns comming into the aria. "oh no" Dusk said and flew back as fast as he could without leading them there.

Dusk zigzaged and lupdeluped all the way doing twistes and turns untill he lost them when he got there he yelled at the top of his lungs. "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"

Skytalon looked at dusk and took off without saying a word. The elders ran out of the cave and took to the air followed by the rest of the brood.

Eclipse looked nervous as he stretched his wings and took to the sky.

Dusk took abit to catch his breth then with the other took to the sky. "I think i saw another dragon with them." dusk said. "it was female and she looked strong"

The dragons hovered in the sky waiting for the enemy to come. bladewing looked suspicious but he was silenced before he could say anything by Swift. She whispered to him, "There is something here...just wait."
Suddenly the horizon filled with a dark mass of flying objects. "Wyverns..." she uttered.

Suddenly Orion shouted, "CHARGE!!!" and the dragons flew in formation at the enemy...

Dusk fallowed them but was stoped by the female dragon again. "Why help them?" She asked. "Who are you?" dusk asked. "and ofcourse I'm going to help them!"He said. The other dragon sighed. "I said why not how. and I thought you were him" she said. "but you do look like him." she said with a smirk. "HEY WAVERNS I FOUND A CHEW TOY!" she yelled and pointed to dusk. "have fun." she said then flew off laughing.

Skytalon flew infront of dusk, "Come for us and you will all die!" The wyverns flew at them and Skytalon charged. He flew straight at them and rolled out of the path of a wyverns mouth and tore apart his wing sending him hurtling to the ground. He continued on to the next one.

The elders used the same tactic and they used it to great affect. For old wise draqgons they were agile and powerful sending each wyvern that came near to the ground. Eclipse flew by dusk who held their ground. An enemy dived at them both, his powerful talons stretched out infront. Dusk noticed it and dodged. He also knocked Eclipse out of the path. Both of the dragon-wolves grabbed the passing wyvern by the wing and crushed it sending the wyvern hurtling to the ground.

after a long battle the waverns were defeated. "I-I need to fallow her!" Dusk said. "she knows something about that evil dragon!" he said pointing in the derection that she flew off in.
