Dragon Roleplay (I know bad name)

"If you wish to do it then you may. I trust you and i know you'll return but let me come with you, I'll be there to give you strength if things go wrong." said Skytalon, huffing plumes of smoke from his nose.

"ok sure" Dusk said flying off in the derection of that female dragon. "but I think we should tell the elders what do you think?" he asked.

"I'll talk to them for you, just don't fly off without me."
Skytalon flew over to Swift.
"Mother...Dusk has some urgent business that he needs to attend to and i want to go with him to make sure."
"Thats fine dear but be back before dark, you know what comes out during the night..."
"Thank you."
Skytalon flew back over to dusk. "Come on lets go"

"ok" dusk said and they both flew off after a bit. "hey Skytalon. What comes out after dark?" he said sounding curious. "I know it's stuped for me to ask but my mom never told me befor she died." he said.

"A very large brood of dragons which live just off our lands. They hunt in the dark and they've forced us to let them hunt in our lands as soon as the sun sets, however they are cannabals and will hunt dragons If they stray from their nesting site."

"ouch." dusk said. "do you think that girl dragon was one of them?" he asked

"I have no idea, I've never seen these dragons, only heard them..."

"well" dusk said flying upsidown. "it's getting kinda dark now we should fly back." he said. "unless you like canables?' he said sounding dark.

(note: if his voice is bold that means he is sounding demonic sorta but is not bad. if his voice is bold and underlind like this: "unless you like canables?' than he is bad)

"We have an hour...Depends if you want to follow that dragon further."

"um... I think we lost her." he said. "besides I think she wants me." he said. "if she does she will come back i'm sure esspecally after she said"

(flashback)

"Why help them?" She asked. "Who are you?" dusk asked. "and of course I'm going to help them!"He said. The other dragon sighed. "I said why not how. and I thought you were him but I guess not" she said . "however you do look like him." she said with a smirk.

(end flashback)

"Ok lets head back, this is going to be close."

Eclipse looked out from the cliff, Swift came out obviously worried. She sat next to the cliff, "Come on boy you know what happens at dark..." she said to herself.

Dusk flew as fast as he could along with Skytalon. "come on come on we're almost there!" Dusk said flaping his wings with all of his might as the sun started to set.

I can see the light from the nesting site, not far now but they will be coming out now, be aware!!" Skytalon flew at full pace towards the light only to hear loud screeches from behind, "Its a hunting cry! we've been spotted!"

Dusk heard a hungry cry. "oh no!" he said. then stopted. He then did something weard.... "ROAR!" thats it he let out a huge bloodthirsty roar scaring the everliving daylight out of the nightdragons and a few of the other dragons.

"Good keep it up... we're nearly there!!"

Swift looked in horror as she heard screeches and the thundering roar. "There so close..."

Dusk continued and then started pushing on Skytalon getting him to move faster. "come on we can make it Skytalon." Dusk said.

"Careful there swarming us, I can see their shadowy figures fly through the light I'm aiming for..." Skytalon flew towards the light nearly missing a crushing blow. He felt the talons scrape along his back. Skytalon felt the pain and it turned into rage.. only the rage was burning insode of him.
"Now its my turn to scare them..." Skytalon forced air out only it caught flame and it shot out like a stream. The swarming dragons dispersed momentarily. "Quick now!!"

Swift saw the jet of flame materialise from the darkness. "Children over here!" She then looked in horror as she saw the numbers of the night dragons that were attacking...

"Skytalon! Swift! Hurry inside and worn the rest of the dragons!" dusk said then turned to the Night dragons. "I will hold them off." he said. Then befor they could protest he flapped his wings until a huge ball of darkness was infront of him and he hurled it at the night dragons hitting the ones that were not lucky anoff to doge it intime.

Skytalon nodded and flew up to the cliff, Swift had already raised the alarm and several members were crawling out of the caves. Eclipse unfurled his wings but Swift turned to him, "You're not ready for this battle my child."
"But... Dusk..."
"You do not yet currently posses an element as you are too young. Thats all we have against these."
Orion and Bladewing walked out and took to the sky along with the other capable dragons. "They charged down spewing a mixture of fire and ice killing a few night dragons instantly.

Dusk looked up to see the elders flying and killing the dragons. "t-thanks I w-was r-running out of e-energy h-here." he said between gasps. "turnning dark aura into a massive ball of destruction takes alot of work you know expecially when your not trained" he said making another ball of darkness and hurling it at the night dragons. The elders then breathing fire and ice chased off the rest of the night dragons. "I-I don't feel so good" dusk said and then fainted.

"Don't do that buddy" shouted Skytalon as he dived after the unconsious Dusk. "I'm sorry about this..." he mumbled as he dug his talons into Dusk and carried him to the nesting site.

Dusk woke up do to the pain of talons coming out of his back. "WHO'S THERE SHOW YOURSELF AND I SHALL GIVE YOU MURSSY!" he shouted his eyes flashing gold (his eyes are teal)and giving everyone a shock. "wo dusk settle down!" Commet said folding his wings around the chick. (chick is what they call a child or baby dragon) "everything is alright you don't need to go all weard on them." Pheonix said.

Skytalon was sent into the elders den. The three elders stood around him.
"What do you think you were doing child? You needlessly endangered everyone. Not only that but you have brought us a new enemy." Orion shouted
"It was an hinest mistake..I got my timings wrong."
"But child you know your supposed to get here an hour before the sun sets." said Swift.
"Your actions have brought shame upon yourself." said Bladewing, unusually calm.
"I'm sorry. I beg for forgiveness."
"You are not to venture out of the nesting area. You in charge of sorting out the good food from the rotten stuff. Said Swift, "I'm disappointed in you child."

Dusk walked over to appologize to Skytalon (his eyes are still gold) and he was very angry. "i should have told him not to come! If i did he would be ok and none of this would happen." he said. "grrrr.." he growled all the way there some of the other dragons stood out of the way nowing that if they didn't they would ether get hurt or killed. he stoped outside the elders cave and waited still growling and mubling to himself.

skytalon left the cave feeling bad. He looked at the ground as he walked out.
